Joins several videos into one, even when they differ in size or have no sound
Drag in up to eight videos, set the order with the arrows, and get a single file. The part most tools fail at is handled here: videos of different sizes and frame rates are fitted to one frame without stretching or distorting, and a video with no audio track, such as a screen recording, gets silence at exactly its own length so the join neither fails nor stretches. Useful for joining clips filmed separately, assembling a video out of several takes, and merging videos received from several people. Everything runs on your own machine and the files are never sent anywhere.
Yes. Each video is fitted to one frame while keeping its own ratio, and the margins fill with black instead of stretching the picture. Without that, a vertical video joined to a horizontal one comes out distorted.
No. The tool checks each file, and one with no audio track gets silence at exactly its own length. That is the point where most other tools fail with an error that does not explain what happened.
Yes, with the arrows next to each row. The order in the list is the order in the final video.
Up to eight at a time. That is a browser memory limit rather than ours, and longer videos use more.
No. The joining runs in your browser, so you can join client material here too.
Klix could not load
Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
