Record your screen with or without a mic, no install needed
Record your entire screen, a specific window, or a browser tab, with or without microphone audio, directly from your browser. Just click start, choose what to share, and begin speaking. You can stop the recording using the button on the page or the browser sharing bar, and you will get a video player to preview it and a button to download a WebM file. This is perfect for software demos, onboarding new employees, bug reporting, or narrating a presentation. The recording never leaves your computer and is not uploaded to any server. This tool is designed for desktop use, as most mobile browsers do not support screen sharing.

There is no limit in the tool itself. The recording is stored in your browser memory until you stop it, so recording for hours will result in a very large file.
On most phones it does not, because mobile browsers do not support screen sharing. For mobile devices, you should use the native screen recorder.
No. It is created and saved entirely in your browser, and downloads directly to your computer.
Klix could not load
Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
