Draw a signature and add it to a document without printing
Draw your signature with a mouse or your finger, choose a page and position, and download a signed PDF without printing, scanning, or uploading to a server. The signature is inserted as a transparent image in dark blue ink. You can place it in one of five locations: the three bottom corners and center, or one of the top corners. A slider lets you adjust its size. The rest of the document remains exactly as it was, including text that you can still select and search. This is useful for a rental agreement, a school form, or an approval someone is waiting for right now. The file can weigh up to 40 megabytes.
This is a graphic signature, just like a scan of a handwritten signature, and it is acceptable for most everyday documents. A certified electronic signature requires a dedicated service with identity verification.
Each download places the signature on a single page. To sign an additional page, you need to upload the signed file, draw again, and select the next page.
Not by dragging. You select one of the five positions: bottom right, bottom center, bottom left, top right, or top left. The signature is then placed at a fixed distance from the margins.
Yes. The drawing pad is touch-responsive, so you can sign with your finger just like on paper.
No. The signature is added to the file inside your browser. The document never leaves your device.
Klix could not load
Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
