PDF Merge and Split

Combine multiple PDF files into one or extract pages

Combine several PDF files into one organized document, or extract a range of pages from an existing file, without uploading anything to a server. When merging, you can arrange the files using arrows and remove any unnecessary ones. When extracting, you select a start and end page to get a new file containing only that range. This is useful for attaching documents to an application, combining invoices into a single report, assembling a contract that arrived in pieces, or pulling a single page from a long document. The files never leave your computer, which is an important promise when handling contracts, payslips, or medical records. There are no watermarks and no quantity limits, with a maximum size of 40 megabytes per file.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a file or size limit?

There is no limit on the number of files, but each file can weigh up to 40 megabytes. Everything is processed in your browser's memory, so particularly heavy files might slow it down for a moment.

Is the order of the files preserved?

Yes, the merge is done in the exact order the files appear in the list. You should verify the order before merging, because changing it later means you will have to merge them again.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. The merging and extracting happen entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your computer.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

A password-protected file must first be opened and saved without the protection. A merging tool cannot read the contents of a locked file, and this is true for any merge tool.

Can I split a file into multiple files at once?

You can only extract one continuous range into a new file at a time. To divide a document into several parts, you need to repeat the extraction process with a different range for each part.
