Turn a phone photo into a straight and clean PDF
This tool turns a phone photo of a document into a professional, straight, and clean scan in a single PDF file. Drag the four circles to the corners of the page and the tool straightens the perspective, even if you took the photo from an angle. There is no automatic edge detection, so you mark the corners by hand. You then choose a mode, sharp black and white document, grayscale, or color, adjust the sharpening intensity, and rotate in quarter turns as needed. You can add multiple images to get an A4 size PDF with all pages in order, or download each page as a JPG. Everything runs in the browser, so certificates and contracts never leave your device.
Make sure the four corners are placed exactly on the corners of the page. You can also click on the arrange corners button if you dragged them in the wrong order.
Document mode turns the page into sharp black and white and creates the smallest file. Grayscale preserves shading, and color is suitable for colorful certificates and receipts.
Yes. Upload several images and they will become a single PDF file in the order you chose.
No. Each page is saved as an image inside the PDF, without text recognition. To get text, download the pages as JPGs and run them through the Image to Text (OCR) tool.
The tool scales down each image so the longest side is up to 1,700 pixels, roughly A4 at 200 DPI, so the browser processing does not freeze. This is enough for reading and standard printing, but not for tiny details.
Klix could not load
Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
