Number amount to full text for a check
Converts a numerical amount into full words in proper Hebrew, exactly as written on checks and legal documents. Enter an amount, like 1232.50, and get two lines: the check phrasing with New Shekels and Agorot, and the whole number in words. The tool handles the most common Hebrew grammar mistakes, ensuring shekel is masculine and agora is feminine, using correct forms like "Shlosh Me'ot" instead of "Shlosha Me'ot", and placing the connecting Vav only before the final item. The range is up to 999,999,999 including agorot, and the calculation is done in your browser.
Hundred (Me'a) is a feminine word, so it takes the feminine form. Shekel is masculine, which is why we say "Shlosha Shkalim".
Up to 999,999,999 shekels, including agorot. A larger amount will display an invalid number message.
The shekels and agorot are connected with a Vav, for example "one hundred new shekels and seventy-five agorot". The tool phrases this automatically.
This is the official name of the currency, and it is customary to write it in full on checks and contracts. If "shekels" is enough, just delete the word after copying.
Yes, the second line shows the whole number in words without a currency. The agorot are not included in it.
