Long article into a short summary or key bullet points
Summarize an article, document, meeting transcript, or any long text into a short summary, key points, or a detailed summary. The short summary is two or three sentences, the key points appear on their own lines, and the detailed summary keeps the arguments and structure of the original. The default is key points. The summary is written in the same language as the original text, and the tool is instructed not to add information that is not there. You can paste up to 8,000 characters at a time, and the text is sent for cloud AI processing. Each run counts as one AI action.
The tool is instructed to summarize only what is written in the text. AI can make mistakes with details, so for a summary used to make a decision, you should check numbers and names against the original.
Up to 8,000 characters per run. Longer texts are summarized in parts, and then you can summarize the summaries.
In the same language as the original, so an English article will be summarized in English. For a Hebrew summary, move the result to the translation tool.
Not directly. The tool works on pasted text. For a PDF, copy the text, and for a video, you need a transcript first.
No. It is sent to cloud AI for summarizing, and we do not save it.

Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
