One image resized for all social media platforms
Upload one image and get it in all the sizes for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and WhatsApp. There are 12 sizes in five groups. These include a square post, vertical post, and story for Instagram, a shared image and cover photo for Facebook, a post and cover photo for LinkedIn, a thumbnail and banner for YouTube, plus an X header, TikTok, and WhatsApp status. Every size is cropped around the center of the image, because the same image looks completely different in an Instagram square versus a wide LinkedIn strip. The preview shows the crop of the first size you selected. Everything downloads as a ZIP of PNG files in folders by network, generated entirely in the browser without uploading to a server.
Because the aspect ratios are different. An Instagram square and a wide LinkedIn strip cannot contain the exact same full image. The tool crops around the center, so you should put the important parts there.
Yes. Each network is a group you can toggle off, and the ZIP will only contain what you selected.
Because it is also displayed on televisions. The safe area visible on all devices is only the center, so text at the edges will disappear even if the image looks great on a computer.
No, the crop is always around the center. If the subject is off to the side, crop it first using the image resize and crop tool so it is in the middle, and only then upload it here.
As large as possible. The tool recommends at least 1024 by 1024, but a YouTube banner is 2560 by 1440, and an image smaller than that will stretch and look soft.
Klix could not load
Try reloading the page first. If a new version just went out, a reload fixes it straight away.
If reloading did not help, your browser may be too old. Klix runs the tools on your own device rather than on a server, so it needs a browser from 2022 or later. What to do: update Chrome or Firefox, then open klixtools.com again.
