App icons and graphics

One image for all the sizes required by app stores

Upload one large square and get all the icons and graphics Apple and Google require for app submission. This includes the 1024 App Store icon, the 512 Google Play icon, all Android mipmap densities, adaptive icon layers, the store feature graphic, and screenshot frames in all required sizes. Everything downloads as a ZIP with the correct file and folder names, plus a file explaining what each size is for. Everything is generated in the browser without uploading to a server.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the website icons tool?

The website tool generates a favicon and PWA icons for the browser. This tool generates the sizes required by app stores, including the Android adaptive icon and the Google Play feature graphic.

Why does the adaptive icon look cropped?

Because it actually gets cropped. Android only shows the center and shapes it according to the device, so anything close to the edges will disappear on some phones. You should keep your logo in the center.

Are the sizes up to date?

They are correct as of the day they were created, and the tool displays the size next to each file. Stores occasionally change their requirements, so you should compare them against the submission page before sending.

What is the best image to upload?

A square of at least 1024 by 1024. A smaller image will stretch and look blurry specifically in the large icon the store displays.
